Course Description

This course is available for complete beginners with no previous experience.  Anatomy & Physiology is the foundation for any person wishing to work in therapy & care industry. This is a qualification that has been specifically designed to give a knowledge and understanding of the main systems in the body.  This knowledge is embedded in many beauty qualifications and is necessary to progress onto Level 4 courses.

What You'll Learn

This course covers the knowledge and anatomical structure and physiological functions of the body systems.  It covers aspected of dermatology, microbiology and trichology.

Course Requirements

This qualification is issued by a government approved awarding body, and so this accredited qualification will be recognised by the leading insurance companies.

Learners will be required to show the achievement of a range of relevant learning outcomes and assessment criteria.

The final assessment consists of one exam paper externally set by the VTCT. They are multiple choice, taken online and the pass mark for each paper is 70%.

At home learning – attend Academy 1 day for online exam
