Course Description
The VTCT Level 4 Award in Laser and Light Treatments for Skin Rejuvenation is an advanced vocational qualification which will prepare you to provide intense light and laser treatments for photo-rejuvenation of the skin. You must already have Level 3 (A&P).
This is an approved qualification for working as an advanced beauty therapist specialising in reducing hair growth and photo rejuvenation of the skin.
What You'll Learn
The knowledge and skills gained in this qualification include preparing for and providing laser and intense pulsed light treatment to treat skin imperfections including telangiectasia, spider naevi blood spots, photo ageing, uneven pigmentation, colour and texture on the face, neck, chest, hands and other body areas with lesions suitable for treatment.
This qualification requires you to develop skills, to carry out IPL and laser treatments.
When you have successfully completed this qualification, you will be in a position to aspire to promotion as an advanced beauty therapist providing laser & IPL services with in a beauty clinic.

There is now a mandatory unit for VTCT Level 2 Covid-19 course to complete as a prerequisite for this qualification. This is included within your course.
For this course you will need to complete the ‘Core Of Knowledge’ Laser/ILS/IPL Safety Training. Please note this cost is not included in our course fee. It is payable directly from the link we provide to you to register.
It is a basic legal requirement for anyone planning to step into the world of laser. This is an online laser safety certificate course. The Core Of Knowledge course is aimed at all those who laser and ILS/IPL systems in the medical and aesthetic field such as doctors, nurses, aesthetic and beauty practitioners.
